Software to untangle legal complexities
We built the Court Proceedings Register to help Santander improve collaboration with law firms and handle tons of documents and conversations tied to ongoing legal proceedings.
Remote, flexible access to data
The system allows for easy granting and revoking access to the employees of both the bank and law firm, so that teams on both sides can stay updated on the progress.
Streamlined flow of documents
Employees can search for and track digitalized versions of documents in a consistent, standardized format across all court cases and at all stages of a case.
Automated reports
Automated reports save a good amount of time for everyone involved and give employees valuable insights to analyze and further improve legal processes.
A tailored solution needed ASAP
With the number of necessary internal software integrations and specific cases to deal with, Santander needed a customized system rather than using a ready-made SaaS platform. And they needed it quick to reduce the growing communication overhead and project delays.
A centralized system instead of piles of documents
With one system shared by the bank and law firms, collaboration was now much more efficient, without all the back-and-forth or the need to hire more staff to handle it.
Apilia had comprehensive technical knowledge and experience in the banking sector, and we had already heard good things about them from other teams. With the system they built, we can now efficiently work with law firms and have a good overview of all the ongoing legal proceedings.
